S&P 500 perpetual futures on Dexari support up to 50x leverage with cross or isolated margin. At 50x, a $100 margin deposit controls a $5,000 position, so small price moves have a large effect on your margin.
How do SP500 funding rates work on Hyperliquid?
Funding payments are exchanged between longs and shorts every hour on Hyperliquid. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts. When it is negative, shorts pay longs. Funding is peer to peer, not a platform fee, and is calculated on your full position size.
Can I buy the S&P 500 index directly?
An index cannot be bought directly. SP500 perps give you leveraged long or short exposure to the index level, and your position exchanges hourly funding while it stays open.
